Hoffmaster Group Inc, an industry leader producing the most complete line of specialty disposable tabletop products for over 75 years, is seeking Finance Supply Chain Interns at our Corporate Office in Oshkosh for Summer 2023. Hoffmaster competes in three distinct business segments - Foodservice, Consumer, and E-Commerce. Our products can be found in thousands of retailers, restaurants, hotels, and more. This Innovation is a key part of what we do here at Hoffmaster, and we continue to drive the industry forward by investing in our employees and state-of-the-art technology.The Finance Supply Chain Interns may be working on the following Projects:

• Specific analysis of costs and profitability for products across like assets and un-like assets (e.g. high speeds versus vintage assets). Also, special analysis around raw materials costs. Comparing costs at different sites to determine most efficient locations to produce products.
  • Evaluate our Maintenance and Parts Inventory systems to ensure they are being used consistently across the businesses. We have over $8 million in parts on the balance sheet and growing. We are looking to target these balances and reduce them.
    Different sites carry many of the same parts, but are not using the same naming process which makes it difficult to identify opportunities to share high cost parts. Help provide clarity and guidelines to Data and processes to ensure they are being managed correctly. The Inventory system is a burning platform (no backup and not maintainable) and needs to be understood and documented and a proposal for a new system considered. Requirements:
    • Currently pursuing a Finance, Supply Chain or related degree. Jr or Sr level preferred
    • Ability to work on a team, and independently
    • Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel Power Point and ability to learn new computer programs
