Job Description Job Description Job Summary: This position involves experience in setting wall forms for residential or commercial properties utilizing aluminum gang panel wall forming system and handset forms where we specialize in cast in place foundations. This position also requires working in all other facets of concrete manufacturing. Essential Job Requirements: Follow all safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment for self and crew. Set footing forms to grade and reinforce to prevent spreading and concrete leakage; align, straighten, plumb and square forms for installation. Pour footings and install keyway where necessary Rebar placement in footings and walls according to plan Install wall forms to chalk line Use power vibrator to consolidate concrete in place for footings and walls Construct wall scaffolding according to OSHA Guidelines Familiarity with pumping concrete into footing and wall forms Setting anchor bolts properly Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials. Removing formwork, and performing the necessary maintenance on forms, e.g., oiling forms, maintaining tapper-ties. Clean and organize site to eliminate potential hazards. Keep job site, trucks, and equipment clean. Report any issues including the malfunction of equipment or vehicles immediately to foreman All other duties assigned. Qualifications/Skills: Use of various construction tools including but not limited to: saws, hammers, nails, bolts or form hardware. Certified all-terrain forklift operator Ability to follow directives. Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing factors. Physical Requirements: Seldom 50% Lifting Able to lift up to 100 lbs Climbing Frequently Bending/Kneeling/Crawling Frequently Reaching/Pushing/Pulling/Grasping Frequently Noise Hearing protection provided Weather Elements Frequently working outside during all seasons Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements · Safety glasses · Safety boot (steel/composite) · Rubber boot · Long pant · 6” short or long-sleeved shirt · Hard hat/gloves as job task dictates Travel Requirements: 100% travel up to, but not limited to, 75-mile radius. Maintain valid driver’s license and possess current automotive insurance to drive company vehicles. (preferred) Preferred Education and Experience No minimum education experience required.
