Job Description Job Description General Shop Worker Starting at $19 and up Integrity Trade Services is hiring a General Shop worker for our client that provides structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing metal fabrications from concept to installation giving customers peace of mind and a quality product in Milwaukee, WI Starts at $19.00 per hour based on experience Ø Good math skills are required, especially fractions and decimals Ø Mechanical ability and experience with hand and electrical tools needed Ø Good attendance is essential Ø Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with excellent driving record is required Ø Loads and unloads trucks and stores incoming steel material in racks with the use of an overhead crane. Ø Forklift experience is helpful Ø Washes steel tubing to remove grease. Ø Caulks and bondo’s fabricated products such as metal railings, fences and steel stairs. Ø Grinds and polishes metal products with electrical hand grinders. Ø Cuts metal material to size using various cutting machines – must be able to read a tape measure to 16th’s of an inch. Ø Keeps shop clean, including sweeping, emptying trash, etc. Ø Job includes heavy lifting. Overhead cranes are used. Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave 401(k) with company match for eligible employees. Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work. The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.
