considered. This opportunity is for an experienced educator
specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) support, focusing on
elementary school students. The role is based onsite in Kaukauna,
WI, within an elementary school setting, and is contracted through
the current school year, ending May 29, 2026. The successful
candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to
students who are deaf or hard of hearing, integrating American Sign
Language (ASL) skills to enhance communication and learning.
Working with a diverse caseload of elementary students, you will
help foster an inclusive educational environment. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver educational support tailored to
elementary students with hearing impairments. Utilize ASL
proficiency to assist in instruction and communication. Collaborate
with educators and support staff to ensure accessibility and
learning success. Assist students in developing readiness and
academic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Qualifications: Minimum of two years of post-secondary education
equivalent to 48 semester hours from an accredited institution, or
an associate degree or higher. Alternatively, demonstrate
competency through a formal state or local academic assessment in
teaching foundational skills. Possession of a valid Wisconsin
Department of Public Instruction Educational Interpreter License.
Experience working effectively with elementary students in an
educational setting. This full-time position requires commitment to
a 37.5-hour workweek, emphasizing direct student interaction and
support. Candidates with the appropriate credentials and experience
