We are seeking a dedicated professional to handle the installation, service, repair, and preventative maintenance of a wide variety of access and loading dock equipment. Position – Service Technician Job Location – Appleton, WI Starting Date – ASAP Employment Term – Direct Hire Employment Type – Full time Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift Starting Pay – $20 per hour Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus Required Education – High School Diploma/GED Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience As a Service Technician, you will be dispatched to industrial, commercial, and warehouse buildings to perform crucial onsite work, ensuring equipment functions reliably and safely. Your responsibilities include: Installation: Installing new doors, dock equipment, and related systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines. Service & Repair: Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on various types of equipment. Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and inspections to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize unexpected downtime. General Plant Equipment: Assisting with the maintenance and repair of general plant equipment as needed or requested by the customer. Qualifications Proven mechanical and/or electrical aptitude is essential. Experience with industrial doors (overhead, roll-up, sectional) and/or loading dock equipment (levelers, restraints) is highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent customer service and communication skills when interacting with clients onsite.
