Position Title: Skilled - Maintenance Mechanic Wage: $30.00 - $38.47/Hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00AM - 3:00PM (Monday - Friday) QPS Employment Group is hiring a Skilled - Maintenance Mechanic. Skilled - Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and paper processing machinery - Lay out, install, and repair pipelines and related equipment for hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, water, and chemical systems - Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime - Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability - Adhere to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, confined space entry, and use of personal protective equipment - Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support production goals Requirements For Skilled - Maintenance Mechanic: - Valid journeyman license - At least eight years of experience in mechanical maintenance - Proficiency in welding, machining, HVAC systems and use of precision measuring instruments - Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints - Strong understanding of mechanical principles and algebra - Associate's degree preferred IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
