shifts. Job Details A well-established industrial fabrication and
automation company is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Drafter to
support the development of custom machinery and tooling. This role
involves creating detailed 2D and 3D models, troubleshooting
existing designs, and assisting with the release of new equipment
into production. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop custom
machinery, tooling, and automation systems for fabrication and
forming. Diagnose and resolve issues with existing tooling and
mechanical systems. Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models and
prepare bills-of-materials. Support testing, documentation, and
training for new designs entering production. Evaluate material
choices and perform basic cost analysis. Collaborate closely with
engineering and manufacturing teams. Qualifications: Education:
Associate degree in mechanical design or equivalent experience
required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: 0–2 years for
entry-level; 3–5 years for mid-level roles in engineering or
machine design. Skills: Strong proficiency in CAD software and a
