Job Description:
Charter Manufacturing, a leader in the metal products and
solutions sector and a family-oriented company with a rich history
spanning four generations, is seeking an experienced Industrial
Maintenance Electrician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team.
In this role, the successful candidate will be instrumental in
minimizing downtime and enhancing production efficiency by ensuring
all electrical systems and equipment are operating optimally.
Through diligent maintenance and expert electrical solutions, the
Maintenance Electrician will support the company’s ongoing
commitment to innovation and outstanding service. Perform regular
maintenance and repairs on all electrical equipment and
installations within the facility. Read and interpret electrical
and electronic schematics and technical manuals. Install, service,
and troubleshoot motors, transformers, generators, and electronic
controllers on machine tools and industrial robots. Conduct tests
and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate
quality or performance. Ensure compliance with national and local
electrical codes and standards. Collaborate with management and
other departments to identify, define, and solve developmental
problems. Record maintenance and repair work performed and the
status of equipment. Advanced knowledge of electrical systems
including planning layouts, circuits, outlets, load centers, panel
boards, etc. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Proficient in using manual tools and power tools necessary for
electrical repairs. Solid understanding of safety procedures and
regulations in an industrial environment. Medical Insurance Dental

license. Certification or advanced qualification in electrical
systems or related field preferred.
