Assist Electrical Engineers with multiple tasks and projects to
gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Electrical Engineers in the design and integration of
vehicle control/embedded systems development.
- Select parts or components for quality conscious design, i.e.
weight, cost, reliability, and ease of manufacturing.
- Use 3D modeling software (CATIA and/or SolidWorks) integrated
with analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses for
- Follow project on the assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or
production build and provide technical assistance.
- Generate bill of materials.
- Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to
find solutions to problems.
- All other duties or projects as assigned.
*Job duties will vary depending on business unit and location of
- Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards a
bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
or related degree.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Willing to travel or relocate to one of the following
- Oshkosh, WI
- Appleton, WI
- Hagerstown, MD
- Dodge Center, MN
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- 3D Modeling and Drafting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of serial communication protocols (J1939) used in
heavy equipment (McNeilus).
