POSITION SUMMARYThis person is responsible for developing a definition of the project. The Project Manager then ensures that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications). He/she ensures the project is effectively resourced and manages relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors).The Project Manager is also responsible for managing the work of consultants, allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.-Coordinate internal resources and third party vendors for project execution---Single point of contact-be accountable for project results-Participate in internal inspection and ensure all shipments meet and exceed the customer expectation.-Assume the project management responsibilities for assigned projects which includes tracking the Project's performance to budget, scope, schedule, and quality.---Assist during customer visits with project management responsibilities.-Manages purchase orders and contract administration-Provide project schedule to identify when each critical task will be performed as defined by PM requirements.-Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Create MS project schedule including allengineering, and manufacturing schedules, payment milestones, delivery milestones, FAT, SAT etc.-Keep the customer and Arrowhead Systems (AHS) management informed on progress and roadblocks to the schedule-Responsible for leading project team meetings-Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request paperwork---Lead, coach and motivate project team members-Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle-Manage factory acceptance testing (FAT) process - internal and external-Complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved-Work with the project management team to develop tools and best practices for project management and execution-Ensure all project documents are properly archived following project completion---Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs---Define and manage project risk. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation-Prepare financial and progress reports to communicate the progress of the project to management---Ensure that payment terms, schedule and milestones all match the proposal and can be accomplished-Manage all scope requests from customer and work with Applications to create scope change documents and costs as needed.-Responsible for reporting to the production meeting on any overages in costs on projects.- Work with--service division--to develop install schedule if applicable.---Other duties and responsibilities as assignedJob Requirements:SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): RequiredBachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school)Experience: 5 plus years of experience in Project ManagementExperience with SAP, Oracle, or JDEComputer Skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Visual MfgCertifications &Licenses:PMP preferredOther Requirements:
