Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/Objective The Production Manager directs all production operations. The typical workweek is Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Provide direction, development, and leadership to production employees.
• This individual will work on the production floor alongside their team
• Work in a team with Customer Service, Quality, and Operations Manager.
• Uphold company and OSHA safety standards.
• Coordinate plant activities through planning with your team to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished quickly and cost-effectively.
• Implement cost-effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, staffing, and wages.
• Monitor overall plant performance for production and continuous improvement.
• Responsible for shop-floor organization and plant cleanliness.Competencies

• Ability to initiate and complete activities in quick succession
• Capacity to work under pressure and with time constraints
• Willingness to train and coach new production employees
• Capable of driving and achieving production goals
• Problem Solving/Analysis
• Forklift experience a plusSupervisory Responsibility Approximately 10 direct reports and 10 indirect reportsWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently must stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.TravelTravel is minimal and would only include local travel during the business day.Required Education and Experience Associates degree in a related field or production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
