Manager at Oshkosh Defense, you will manage, analyze, and support
growth opportunities in the Delivery market leveraging corporate
capabilities developed through development of the Next Generation
Delivery Vehicle. This role will provide significant input on key
strategic questions for Oshkosh Corporation and manage key critical
strategic projects for the company.YOUR IMPACT
- Manages critical projects and initiatives to address key
strategic questions or issues for the company
- Develop project scope and plan for key strategic projects and
initiatives, including deliverables, milestones, and timing
- Organize and guide a cross-functional and cross segment
teams
- Assure communication and cooperation among team members and
resolve areas of conflict
- Assign and manage internal, external, multi-divisional, direct
and matrixed resources to ensure all objectives and goals are
met
- Support growth by developing and marketing new technology or
product(s) to customers
- Develops, coordinate and implements business strategies to
align with the company's objectives to drive growth and
profitability
- Develop market requirements through a thorough understanding of
the Oshkosh capabilities and customer requirements
- Benchmarks competitors and their products and services to
provide insights to the leadership team
- Develop strategic partner relationships to ensure future and
current success
- Create and support detailed business case analysis
- Develop, prepare and present briefings related to project
status, direction, and performance
- Identify, assess, monitor and mitigate risk
- Other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering or another
related field
- Eight (8) or more years of related experience OR four (4) or
more years of related consulting experience
- Independent judgment and decision-making ability
- Strong verbal presentation and written communication
skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to influence and lead others
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteSTANDOUT
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in the field or in a related area; MBA
preferred
- Prior experience working in or with a Manufacturing
industry
- Project management experience from top-tier consulting firm
(Bain, BCG, McKinsey, etc.).
- Thought leadership, change management, and project management
experience
- Ability to influence change and build relationships with other
business leaders
- Ability to deliver leadership presentations and facilitate
group discussions
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
and drive consensus
- Broad cross-functional skillset
- Very Strong analytical abilities
- Proven experience managing multiple and competing
