  • NICU is a Level III, 22-bed NICU unit
  • Job: 1 NICU RN - Variable 12 HR Shifts - Children's WI Fox Valley - Neenah, WI
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum of 3 years (level III or level IV)NICU experience required & PEDS experience preferred
    • Required Education: BSN
      • Schedule Information
      • Variable 12-hour shifts (7p-7a and/or 7a-7p)
      • 2 weekends scheduled in a 4-week period Holidays as scheduled outside of requested time off.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Nurse to patient ratio: 1:2 or 1:3 depending on acuity
        • Charting/Equipment: EPIC Preferred
          • Additional Details
          • Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
          • Our Milwaukee and Fox Valley hospitals have both earned Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), which is awarded for demonstrating sustained superiority in nursing care
          • Float Requirements: floating to peds unit highly preferred
          • On Call/Call-Back: None, but if picking up extra shifts, could be placed on call or cancelled
          • Scrub Colors: any color just not all black
          • Jewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn.
          • Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS. Covid vaccine no longer required.
