Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Radius Rule: Contractors must live outside a 50 mile radius Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: asap Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36 hrs per week Shift Requirements: weekend only day shift Friday Saturday Sunday 0600-1800 Float Requirements: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED, and general care areas. On Call/Call-Back: N/A Weekend/Holiday: every weekend contract, holiday rotation Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS NBRC RRT. Active WI license required, Advanced NRP required Required Education: Associates Degree Minimum Experience: 2 year experience, previous travel experience preferred, NICU experience required Unit Specific Skillset: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED and general care areas. Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and CodeBlue. Basic Respiratory Care, Critical Care, Ventilator Management, Patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols, care for all age groups. Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates. Dress Code: closed toed shoes; scrubs (any color); clean; no smoking or scent allowed; piercings per dress code policy Contract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours Travelers can be put on call for low census hours. The on-call hours that travelers are placed on will count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours. If the traveler is called back to the facility, they will be able to receive call back pay.
