Job Description:

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS) seeks a dedicated Crisis Care Coordinator to join our team in delivering prompt and effective services to communities facing crises. This pivotal role involves assessing the needs of individuals and families during emergencies, coordinating with multiple service providers, and ensuring that the appropriate support mechanisms are activated swiftly and efficiently. The Crisis Care Coordinator will also play a key role in planning and implementing recovery programs and ensuring compliance with all regional and national guidelines in crisis intervention. Conducting detailed assessments of client needs during crises. Coordinating community resources and services to provide immediate support. Developing and implementing strategic plans for disaster response and recovery. Collaborating with agencies and stakeholders to enhance service provision. Maintaining accurate records of interventions and outcomes. Participating in training and development sessions to stay current with best practices in crisis management. Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and make crucial decisions In-depth knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and community services Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in crisis management preferred First Aid and CPR certification required
