Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n This position will work between the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Most shifts will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm but may vary based on program needs and student rotations. /n Join the 1 hospital in Wisconsin! /n We are seeking a Radiology Instructor to: /n /n - Assume responsibility with other School of Radiologic Technology (SRT) faculty for clinical education of student radiographers during clinical practicum courses /n - Assist with and conduct student evaluations and competency testing within the SRT during clinical education experiences /n - Circulate to all clinical education settings to instruct student radiographers, collaborate with clinical staff regarding student performance, and assist with administering the School of Radiologic Technology rules, regulations, and policies in compliance with current Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Standards. /n /n/n Qualifications/n/n/n /n /n - Graduate of a radiography program and Baccalaureate Degree Required /n - Bachelor's Degree in Education Preferred /n /n /n /n Work Experience/n /n /n /n - 2 years full-time clinical experience as a radiographer with significant experience in the supervision, instruction and evaluation of student radiographers Required /n - 5 years full-time clinical experience as a radiographer with significant experience in the supervision, instruction and evaluation of student radiographers Preferred /n /n /n /n Licenses & Certifications/n /n /n /n - ARRT certification in Radiography Upon Hire Required /n - WI Radiographer license Upon Hire Required /n - Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required /n - ARRT certification in a post-primary category such as Mammography, Computed Tomography, Angiography/Interventional, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging Preferred /n /n /n/n/n Our Commitment to Social Impact and Belonging/n/n/n UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
