UW Health is seeking a Outpatient Surgical Technologist for a job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: Full-time, 100% FTE, day/evening shift. Monday- Friday, 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:40 am – 5:10 pm, rotating one day off each week. No weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay: This position may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). We are seeking a Surgical Tech to: Help prepare the operating room prior to surgery, ensure the right instruments and supplies are ready in the room. Assist the surgeon by anticipating their next move and handing them any instruments that may be needed in order to make the procedure run as smooth and efficient as possible. Assist with inventory control.
