Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Janesville, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,150 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Med-surg Adult Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current WI License Certifications: CPR/BLS, Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu Must-Have: Ability to float to other units, available for every other weekend and holiday Description: We are seeking experienced nurses. The candidates must have a current Wisconsin License and CPR/BLS certification. Registered Nurses must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu. Travel Registered Nurse may be required to float to other units. This position will require every other weekend and holiday coverage. Shifts are 12 hours, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Holiday coverage is required. Essential duties include utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. The nurse will administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice act. Documentation must meet standards of care. Developing, initiating, and executing a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient is essential. This plan should be prescribed by the Physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. Participation in department or unit performance improvement activities is required. Utilization of clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care is expected. Critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience should be employed, with appropriate escalation to the chain of command when necessary.
