Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2052.00 /n/n Opportunity: /n Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide and coordinate comprehensive respiratory care procedures and modalities /n• Use respiratory therapy processes to support patient assessment utilizing pulmonary diagnostics, chest radiographs, hemodynamic values, laboratory values, and blood gas correlation /n• Operate specialized ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues /n• Assist physicians with bedside and other procedures as applicable /n• Provide medication treatments and therapies per physician orders and patient-driven respiratory protocols /n• Clean, maintain, and ensure proper functionality of respiratory equipment /n• Troubleshoot equipment and identify needs for service and repair /n• Educate and instruct patients on therapy purpose, technique, self-care, goals, and disease management /n• Collaborate with other departments to provide education on patient management /n• Demonstrate effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution skills /n• Provide clear, concise, timely, and accurate patient handoffs /n• Promote culture of safety by recognizing and applying proper safety measures /n• Report patient safety events and near misses in timely manner /n• Teach, educate, and precept new teammates, orientees, and students /n• Must lift up to 50 lbs from knee to waist and floor to waist height occasionally /n• Must lift 40 lbs at waist height and carry across various distances /n• Must lift 20 lbs from waist to overhead /n• Must push/pull utilizing 30 lbs of force occasionally for long distances /n• Required certifications: RCP license, RRT or CRT credential, BLS for Healthcare Providers /n• Graduate from accredited respiratory care program with minimum associate degree required /n• No prior experience required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on respiratory care across the continuum.
