Registered Nurse - Inpatient Acute Dialysis Location: Janesville,
WI Start Date: 02-05-2026 End Date: 05-07-2026 Contract Type:
Travel Contract Shift Type: Day shift, 40 hours/week; every other
weekend and rotating holidays; on-call schedule averages 3-4 days
per month with one weekend per month Hours per Week: 40 Candidate

Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
members to deliver coordinated, patient-centered dialysis care
Administer medications and treatments safely and in line with
hospital policy and state practice acts Develop, initiate, and
execute individualized patient plans of care and document them to
standard Use critical thinking to identify safety risks and
escalate concerns through the appropriate chain of command
Contribute to department performance improvement activities and
participate in shared governance Provide patient and family
education to support understanding of treatment plans and outcomes
Offer clinical guidance to other units as patients’ longitudinal
plans of care require Qualifications Current Wisconsin RN license
required prior to start Active BLS certification required prior to
start Active ACLS certification required prior to start Clinical
experience in inpatient acute dialysis preferred; demonstrated
comfort with dialysis treatments and related nursing processes
Ability to work day shift schedule with every other weekend,
rotating holidays, and participation in on-call rotation Strong
documentation skills and commitment to patient safety and quality
care Knowledge & Skills Medication administration and safe
medication practices Care planning using the nursing process
Accurate, timely documentation to standards of care Patient safety
practices and escalation procedures Interdisciplinary collaboration
and clear communication Patient education and family instruction
Performance improvement methodologies and shared governance
participation Critical thinking for complex clinical situations
