Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Tech to join our faith-based healthcare team. In this role, you will work directly in our state-of-the-art surgical environments, providing essential support to surgeons and ensuring that every procedure is carried out with precision and compassion. Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring necessary surgical supplies are available. Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other sterile supplies. Help maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections. Monitor and anticipate the surgeon's needs to facilitate the flow of the operating room. Conduct inventory of surgical tools and supplies before and after procedures. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care. Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques Proficiency in operating room protocols and procedures Ability to quickly and accurately follow instructions Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure Keen attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
