Job Description:
SSM Health, a leading not-for-profit Catholic health system, is
seeking a dedicated Anesthesia Technician to join our dynamic team
in the Midwest. In this role, you will be instrumental in
supporting our anesthesia care team in providing high-quality
patient care during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment
and supplies, assisting anesthesiologists and anesthetists, and
ensuring a sterile and safe environment in the operating room. This
position offers you the opportunity to work closely with skilled
healthcare professionals in a supportive and mission-driven
environment. Prepare and organize anesthesia equipment and supplies
for scheduled surgeries. Assist anesthesiologists and anesthetists
during procedures by providing necessary equipment and supplies.
Perform regular checks and maintenance on anesthesia machines to
ensure they are functioning properly. Monitor inventory levels and
coordinate with suppliers to ensure all necessary materials are
available. Maintain a sterile environment to adhere to safety and
health guidelines. Proficiency in handling and maintaining
anesthesia equipment. Strong organizational and communication
skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful
environment. Knowledge of sterile processing and infection control
protocols. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
