Job Description:

SSM Health is searching for a dedicated and leadership-driven Registered Nurse Manager (Mgr-RN) to guide, develop, and oversee nursing teams at our fully integrated healthcare delivery system. As a vital leader within our Catholic, not-for-profit health network, which is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare across the Midwest, the Mgr-RN will play a key role in maintaining our standards of care and enhancing patient outcomes. This role requires merging clinical expertise with management skills to ensure that our high standards of care are met across various departments. Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff to ensure outstanding patient care. Collaborate with medical and administrative personnel to implement effective procedures and policies. Monitor patient care for quality. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Manage staffing requirements, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Support staff development and education initiatives. Foster a collaborative, compassionate, and efficient workplace environment. Strong leadership and organizational skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management systems and software Deep understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
