Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Job Title: Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down RN -. Aspirus Wausau Hospital Cardiac Telemetry Unit – Wausau, WI. Contract Length: 13 weeks. · Start Date: ASAP. · Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36. · Shift Requirements: 12 hours NOCS 1900-0730 -. · Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS. Minimum Experience: MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) & 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required. Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience without Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips. *Required: at least ONE travel assignment must be completed. * Charting- 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required. · Unit Information: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. Detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure, Fem Pop Bypass. Patient ratio typically 1:4.
