working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Madison,
Wisconsin, 53792! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: State RN
license required Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required
Must-Have: CVICU experience required Experience and knowledge of
NextStage CVVH machine required Telemetry test required prior to
start Description: This position involves day and night shifts,
with hours from 07:00 to 19:30 and 19:00 to 07:30. Every other
weekend and some holidays are required, with no call
responsibilities. Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or
Acuity Adaptable area is preferred. Basic Arrhythmia experience
required. Traveler must provide current telemetry competencies.
Ensure care is delivered with a commitment to meeting patient and
family needs. Be an integral part of a team providing care for
patients requiring specialized cardiac and thoracic surgeries. The
unit specializes in the care of cardiothoracic surgery, heart and
lung transplant, and cardiac medical patients. Specific patient
populations include those undergoing CABG, valve repair or
replacement, and various cardiac interventions. Nurses typically
care for 1-2 patients, with the possibility of assignments
increasing to 3 during lower acuity periods. Staff requirements
include collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, such as
Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services. The environment involves
a wide range of acuity with planned and emergent procedures
frequently taking place. Monitoring and managing patients with
complex needs and various medical devices is a key component of
care delivery. Continuous education and competency assessment in
telemetry and critical care practices are expected. Candidates
should possess adaptability and strong clinical skills to navigate
the dynamics of the unit. All applicants must meet the minimum
experience requirements within the last three years in the
