Via is redefining public transport, by transitioning from rigid schedules and routes to a dynamic, on-demand network. Our innovative mobile app pairs multiple passengers together who are headed in the same direction, optimizing city transit in real-time, reducing congestion, and decreasing emissions. We are seeking skilled and dedicated drivers to join our Sun Prairie team. This role is perfect for individuals who pride themselves on punctuality, safety, and customer service. Safely transport customers along assigned routes, adapting to dynamic ride requests in real-time. Utilize the Via driver app to navigate the most efficient routes, manage scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs, and communicate with passengers. Maintain a clean and safe vehicle to ensure passenger comfort and safety. Provide excellent customer service, assist passengers as needed ensuring a pleasant riding experience. Adhere to all traffic and city regulations as well as company policies. Report any incidents or accidents to a supervisor in a timely manner. Excellent navigational ability and familiarity with GPS devices or map apps. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Experience in handling money transactions (if applicable) and maintaining records of services. Valid driver's license. Clean driving record. Pass a background check and drug test prior to employment. Completion of a defensive driving certification is favored.
