Summary:NEW YEAR, NEW CAREER! Are you looking for a job in a safe work environment? The QTI Group is recruiting Welders for a company in Oshkosh! This is a 1st shift, full-time position! Hours are 6 AM - 2 PM, Monday through Friday. This position operates welding equipment to fabricate materials per customer specifications. Pay starts at $17/hr. and goes up based on experience! Ask a QTI Recruiter for more details!Responsibilities:* Set up the program and adjust parameters as needed to ensure quality parts* Maintain a high level of focus while welding* Ensure a quality product through required checks while meeting on-time goals* Complete inspection reports after inspecting and measuring the material* Perform preventive maintenance as needed* Complete assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices* Performs other duties as needed that are given by the bay supervisor, lead person or managementQualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)* A minimum of one (1) year of previous welding experience is preferred in an industrial atmosphere.* A minimum of one (1) year previous experience setting up & programming robotic welder(s)* Ability to understand and decipher different types of welds.* Ability to read and understand measuring tools and equipment such as a tape measure, calipers, and micrometer* Ability to read blueprints.* Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts* Ability to perform math* Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds, as well as lift and move heavier objects with the assistance of cranes, forklifts, or another employee#indFV
