Job Description:
We are once again pleased to offer this summer employment
opportunity to sons, daughters, relatives and friends of our
Oshkosh full time employees. This program is designed to help the
company reduce the overall vacation coverage costs, while providing
employee's children the opportunity to earn better than average
wages that will help offset the costs of continuing education.
Details are outlined below.A. The summer temporary hire program
would hire post high school students who are at least 18 years of
age. -B. The individuals hired would be as Hoffmaster temporary
employees and must be 18 years of age on or before their date of
hire.C. The hiring would be done in the following preferential
order - all applications must list who the applicant is related to
and how OR who they are being referred by: Group 1: Sons and
daughters of current employees who will or have graduated from high
school and are either current students at a college, junior
college, technical or trade school, or have their acceptance letter
from a trade school, technical school or college for fall
enrollment.Group 2: Relatives of current employees who have
graduated or will graduate from high school and are attending a
trade school or college in the fall and have their letter of
acceptance.Group 3: All other individuals of either trade schools,
technical schools, junior of four-year college.Applicants from
Group 1 will be used to fill all openings before utilizing Group 2,
Group 3, etc., based on applicant availability when needed by the
business. All who apply will be categorized by these groups. -We
will be hiring only a limited number of summer temporary hire
employees, so it is important for all groups to turn in
applications as soon as possible. Temporary employees may not be
guaranteed 40-hour workweeks.All applicants will follow the normal
interview process, followed by a post offer drug and alcohol
screening and physical assessment in order to meet the job
