Professional Services Group, Inc.Description:**JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY FOR $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!**PSG/CIP is a multi-service community-based social services organization that fulfills its mission of helping individuals and families to achieve their greatest potential through dynamic, cost-effective, and innovative programming responsive to the needs of diverse communities.JOB SUMMARY:The Parent Mentor provides in-home services to parents and families to address such topics as parenting skills, behavior modification techniques, anger and stress management, basic life skills, and family budgeting skills.This is a great opportunity for recent graduates looking to explore the human services field, or experienced individuals looking for a new role.Come join our team for an opportunity to serve families in our community!KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Create review family treatment plans and monitor families in accordance with their treatment plans.Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.Provide parenting education, support, and advocacy to program clientele through individual, family, and group work.Conduct home visits as per program standards.Attend client court proceedings and provide updates on treatment progress, as required. Training is provided on this.Organize and facilitate structured group, individual and/or family activities.Safely transport clients as needed.After training is complete, staff are added to on-call procedures to monitor after-hours calls.LOCATION: Office is based in Oshkosh, WI. Hybrid model of time spent at the office and out in the community working in-person with clients. Work from home two days per week!
