Evaluates images to ensure they are of acceptable diagnostic quality. Adheres to ThedaCare safety and quality standards, and uses proper ergonomic techniques.Job Description:Schedule: PM Shift - start time between 3:30pm-4:00pm with an end time of 10:30pm-11:00pm.On Call shared by team of 7, when fully staffedCalled in average x1 per nightLearn about ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - NeenahNew renovated campusLevel II Trauma CenterComprehensive Stroke and Bariatric CenterChildrens Wisconsin Neenah CampusFull Imaging Department CT, MRI, X-ray, US, Echo, Dexa, Mammography, and Nuclear MedicineMultiple specialty areas including: NICU, Peds, General Surgery, Neurology, Urology, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Wound Care, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab, Long Term Rehab services for Stroke and Trauma, PT and OT, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, and Cancer Care servicesTechnology: GE Logic E10, Logic E9, and Parks Flo-LabStudies include General, OB-Gyn, Vascular and Interventional procedures on patients of all agesKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Applies knowledge of anatomy and pathophysiology, and critical thinking to implement appropriate imaging techniques using established protocols to acquire required images.2. Adjusts to changing or unusual circumstances and cares for patients and families in a variety of settings to ensure their comfort and safety.3. Applies critical thinking skills and ensures order accuracy when triaging and prioritizing patients.4. Completes documentation on time and accurately in accordance with department policy or procedure including proper image management and accurate documentation in electronic medical record.5. Practices safety at all times, which includes adhering to ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) principles for proper radiation safety for team members and patients using mobilization and immobilization devices, following safe patient handling practices, following infection prevention practices (proper personal protective equipment), and following hand hygiene to comply with government agencies or other regulatory bodies.6.
