Evaluates image quality and utilizes proper radiation safety practices.Job Description:Schedule: Daytime weekend-only position. Friday 8 hours. Sat/Sun 12 hours. No call. Holiday rotation. Demonstrates working knowledge of equipment and safety practices in the areas of main department, interventional radiology, surgery, emergency department, and outpatient surgery.2. Demonstrates knowledge and skills needed to perform all radiology procedures per protocol and adjusts techniques according to patient needs, i.e., critical or emergency. Consults with providers as needed.3. Provides practical instruction for students and other health care professionals.4. Applies critical thinking skills and ensures order accuracy when triaging and prioritizing patients.5. Completes documentation on time and accurately in accordance with department policy or procedure including proper image management and accurate documentation in electronic medical record.6.
