Job Description
Join the Amcor team and work a part-time job that fits your lifestyle at our Amcor Specialty Films Plant on the south end of Oshkosh.

Weekend Shift:

  • Scheduled Friday, Saturday, Sunday, have off all week. Working 5:30-5:30 12 hour shifts
  • Days and Nights Shifts may be available, apply today and a recruiter will contact you with open availability
  • P ositions pay based off of skillset and experience, starting at $17.61/hour + $0.60 night shift premium,and 1.5x on Sundays
  • Benefits start day ONE
  • Retention bonus eligible after 1 year of employment receive up to $1,500

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    Amcor is currently seeking enthusiastic, accountable employees for our part-time production positions! At Amcor, Safety is our number one priority. All employees act as safety leaders in all responsibilities. Employees support our World Class Operations by engaging in team activities and continuously improving the business.

    While working in the Clean Room, Coating, Converting, Extrusion, Lamination, Rewind, Slitting or Press department you will be given an opportunity to develop your skills through our training programs.

    WHAT ROLL WRAPPERS GET TO DO:

    • Wrap, label, and palletize finished slit rolls from all Rewinder lines in accordance with customers' requests
    • Properly complete all documentation and paperwork, including but not limited to, job check off sheets, cleaning logs, etc.
    • Operate pallet jack, forklift, and tilt lock in a safe and efficient manner
    • Clean compactor room, empty dumpsters, sweep, other housekeeping duties as assigned
    • Load pallets with film and put them on a pallet lift
    • Load film on a stretch wrapper, label and remove wrapped pallet
    • All other tasks and duties as assigned

      WHAT MAKEREADY'S GET TO DO:

      • Make sure that all plates returned to the making/mounting area are clean, this includes cleaning the plate cylinders
      • Maintain the gear-up room in clean condition and place gears in proper location
      • Familiarize and understand the complete operation of the computer system for distillation to washing machine parts
      • Assist the press crew by cleaning decks, changing cylinders, and other tasks as needed to bring press back into production
      • Properly complete all documentation and paperwork, including but not limited to, job check off sheets, cleaning logs, etc.
      • Work on the presses as workloads and schedules dictate
      • Check with supervisor to find out where help is needed
      • All other tasks and duties as assigned

        PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION POSITIONS:

        • Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs
        • Willing and able to stand and walk for a 12 hour shift
        • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
        • Frequent use of wrist and hands
        • Frequent stepping up and down from platforms
        • Reasonable accommodations will be considered on a case by case basis

            • Previous manufacturing experience a plus, not required
            • Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs
            • Possess adequate math, measurement, and reading skills

            • Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
            • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment
