JOB SUMMARY:The Supply Chain Analyst will support and enable ***'s cross functional/cross Segment commodity councils in making fact based supply chain decisions that will maximize the cost and technological benefits of ***'s global size and scale. Mechanisms to accomplish this support include analysis and mining of existing business intelligence (BI) data for correlations and trends, creation of new reports/information where existing baseline information is limited, external market research on commodity cost, technology trends or new areas of study as assigned, development of positive and collaborative relationships within the commodity councils, and ad hoc analysis as circumstances dictateESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned Create fact based data sets and business recommendations in relation to supply base spend, supply base size and complexity, commodity cost drivers, and other requirements as identified by the commodity councils. Utilize existing BI tools and reports to generate relevant information as well as create new reports within the BI system where information is lacking or ambiguous. Conduct outside, independent research as needed to solve problems or develop data where none exists within ***. Identification and closure of errors or gaps in existing BI data. Develop recommendations and alternatives to achieve the end goals of the global commodity councils based on research and analysis. Perform internal and external research on topics ranging from standard supply chain practices to the development of data sets or information that might be new to ***.

• Collaborate and share the results and outcomes of relevant analysis within the commodity councils to ensure understanding and buy in. Possess the ability to think creatively, critically, and independently to achieve desired outcomes. Presentation of outcomes and recommendations in a clear and precise manner utilizing Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field. One (1) or more years of experience in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related area. Background and familiarity in critical thinking and analytics. The ability to work collaboratively and create relationships within a team.Proficiency with software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity and proficiency working with BI or related systems. Experience in data regression and trending techniques.
