Job Description:
Our manufacturing client is seeking a Plant Manager for their
facility located a short drive from Muskegon,
MI!RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for plant production
goals.Responsible for product quality control for the plant.Direct
and coordinate plant operations within company policy and
guidelines.Work with department managers to ensure coordination of
purchasing, production and shipping.Select and train plant
supervisory and administrative staff.Foster a well-trained and
motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication
skills.Conduct employee performance reviews.Schedule and conduct
plant meetings.Ensure maintenance of clean and safe
plant.Communicate with all levels of personnel through strong
interpersonal skills.Attend corporate trainings and
meetings.Regular and predictable attendance is an essential
function of the job.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
requiredMaster's Degree in Engineering a plus, but not required!5+
years
Experience within food or beverage manufacturing5+ years
Experience in supervising exempt employeesStrong planning and
organization skills and ability to multi taskStrong experience
within engineering a BIG plus!Ability to effectively present
information and respond to questions from groups of managers,
employees, clients, customers, and the general publicAbility to
work well under pressure in fast paced environmentMicrosoft Office,
Word, Excel, Outlook Education
