POSITION SUMMARY Assist Electrical Engineers with multiple tasks and projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Engineering. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Support Electrical Engineers in the design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems development. 2. Select parts or components for quality conscious design, i.e. weight, cost, reliability, and ease of manufacturing. 3. Use 3D modeling software (CATIA and/or SolidWorks) integrated with analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses for trucks. 4. Follow project on the assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or production build and provide technical assistance. 5. Generate bill of materials. 6. Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to find solutions to problems. 7. All other duties or projects as assigned. * Job duties will vary depending on business unit and location of internship. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree. * Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. * Willing to travel or relocate to one of the following locations: * Oshkosh, WI * Appleton, WI * Hagerstown, MD * Dodge Center, MN PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Good oral and written communication skills. 3D Modeling and Drafting experience preferred.
