JOB SUMMARY: The Global Benefits Analyst will be responsible for influencing the strategy of Oshkosh's benefits program, create and recommend plan designs and establish governance to support the Global HR Service team. Benefits plans include: voluntary benefits, employee stock purchase, business travel accident, paid time off, tuition and service awards. This role will be responsible for benefit compliance including all regulatory filings (SPDs, 5500s, SSA, QNEC, ACA), nondiscrimination testing, and vender performance tracking. The Global Benefits Analyst will write communication and training and serve as the expert in the Tier III model of our HR service delivery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. * Prepares annual compliance reports including but not limited to non-discrimination testing, 5500 filings, BPGC filings, summary annual reports, internal and external audit requirements, plan documents, summary plan descriptions and communication materials. * Gain external perspectives and learn internal voice of customer to establish the right plan design in alignment with the Global Rewards strategy that achieves affordability, market competitiveness, compliance and meets the destination workplace and wellbeing vision. * Develop and deliver communication tools for HR and team members on education of our benefit programs; write knowledge articles and train the Tier I and Tier II HR service team. * Influence the feature and functionality design in our HR systems which will include both Workday and ServiceNow; perform user acceptance testing as needed. * Manage service level agreements and performance guarantees at the contract level; hold benefit partners accountable for the agreed upon deliverables. * Process team member benefit inquiries at the Tier III level; liaison between Tier II and benefit partners to handle most complex and escalated issues; establish governance structure for Tier II analysts. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a relate field. * Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in Human Resources or Benefits. * Proficient in Microsoft Suites: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc. * Thorough knowledge of benefit applicable laws including but not limited to COBRA, HIPPA, and ERISA. * Advanced knowledge of various benefit plan types (Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, FSA, HRS, Dependent Verification, Pension, 401K, Life, Disability, FMLA, STD, LTD, Military leave, etc.). * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to travel 25%.
